Plumeri Park at the College of William and Mary

A senior at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, Michael Eugene Goldak is pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics. During his first two years at the school, Michael E. Goldak played on the school's baseball team.

The William & Mary Tribe baseball team plays its home games at Plumeri Park. Considered one of the region's premier collegiate baseball facilities, Plumeri Park is a 1,000-seat venue that includes dugouts, locker rooms, a press box, a grandstand, and outdoor batting cages.

The park was constructed in 1999 and has since been upgraded with a scoreboard, a 10-foot halo behind home plate, padding on the backstop, and baselines of natural grass. The park is used primarily by the Tribe, but it also hosts multiple high school showcase tournaments each year.

The construction of Plumeri Park was made possible because of a significant donation from Joe Plumeri, a William & Mary alumnus and former William & Mary Foundation trustee. Plumeri, who worked more than three decades as an executive at Citigroup, is also a co-owner of the Lakewood BlueClaws and the Trenton Thunder minor league baseball teams.
